The department of information technologies was established in accordance with the decision of the Council of RUE on August 28, 2024 (protocol No. 1).
Information technology (IT) is a set of technologies related to data collection, storage, transmission and processing processes. These technologies significantly change people's daily life and work, simplifying communication and information sharing.
Mission
To train competitive, qualified specialists in the field of information technologies, to contribute to the technological progress of the country through the development of scientific and innovative research and digital transformation.
Objectives
- To form deep theoretical and practical knowledge in the fields of modern programming, system architecture, database and artificial intelligence.
- To teach students appropriate knowledge and skills based on the IT industry, startup ecosystem and corporate technological requirements.
- To develop innovative approaches to ensuring the security of cybersecurity, network technologies and information systems.
- To conduct scientific research in the areas of digital economy, software development and information systems design.
- To modernize the educational process by combining academic knowledge with practical projects.
- To create practical experience for students and specialists by strengthening cooperation with the public, private sector and international IT companies.
