On March 15 of this year, a board meeting of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovations was held in the city of Jizzakh. It was attended by rectors of all higher education institutions, the Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovations of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, heads of the departments of higher education, science and innovation of the regions and the city of Tashkent.
It critically and analytically discussed current issues in the industry, and a number of important decisions were made.
As part of the meeting, an “Intellectuals' Garden” was established on the territory of the Jizzakh Polytechnic Institute based on the “Green Space” project. The rector of the Renaissance University of Education, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Nusratilla Barakayev, and the vice-rector of Scientific affairs and Innovations of the university, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Abror Askarov also actively participated in this noble initiative. They planted seedlings in the garden and made their worthy contribution to this project.
At the same time, a hashar was held at the Renaissance University of Education as part of the "Green Space" project. Fruit and ornamental tree seedlings were planted on the university grounds. This was not only an important step towards further greening the environment, but also an important step towards providing environmental education to students.
Professors, teachers, staff and students took an active part in the event. The newly planted trees will expand the university's green space and create a suitable ecosystem for future generations.
