The Head of State participated in a meeting of the National Anti-Corruption Council on March 5. At this meeting, work on preventing corruption was analyzed and future priorities were identified.
In order to raise awareness of the issue of combating corruption among young people, an open dialogue was held at the Renaissance University of Education on the topic “Corruption is the main obstacle and stumbling block on the path to reforms.”
The event was opened by the rector of the university, Professor Nusratilla Barakayev. In his speech, he noted that corruption poses a serious threat to the development of society and noted the need for young people to be leaders in combating this vice.
The meeting was attended by deputies of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis - Ravshan Fazilov, Nodir Jumayev and Sevara Ubaydullayeva, who spoke about the negative impact of corruption on society, practical work being carried out to prevent it today, and innovations in legislation.
The event was held in the form of an open dialogue, where students asked questions of interest. Experts expressed their opinions on effective ways to combat corruption, ensure transparency, and actively involve young people.
Such meetings are important in providing young people with a correct understanding of corruption and encouraging them to be socially active.
