We are seeing a lot of situations where money is withdrawn from bank plastic cards via SMS, trading, i.e. frauds in increasing the amount of money, personal photos are spread on the Internet and social networks. How should a person protect himself from such situations?
A roundtable discussion was held at the Renaissance Educational University on the topic "Methods of committing the crime of illegal robbery of money from a bank plastic card and victimological prevention".
It was attended by Captain Ilhom Saidov, Senior Inspector of IIOFMB Youth Affairs, Shaykhontohur District of Tashkent, and Lieutenant Colonel Sherzod Kadirov, representative of cyber security department.
Experts warn students about illegal appropriation of bank card funds, FAKE messages about "online credit" or "online microloan", fake accounts created with malicious intent, low-priced confiscated goods, fraudulent shopping on the Internet, malicious links designed to capture personal information, risky games and other cyberspace activities provided information about violations of the law and their negative consequences.
