A competition on "Translation of Uzbek official documents into foreign languages" was held by the Department of Foreign Languages at the Renaissance University of Education. This competition was organized in order to encourage students in the field of high-quality translation and wide distribution of national documents at the international level.
The following 6 teams participated in the event:
“Hilol”;
“Young translators”;
“L'amitie”;
“Новый звезда”;
“Hayan Zhuanyedui”;
“Mugunxva”.
Smart students tried their best with their knowledge, determination and quick thinking.
In the competition, students tested their knowledge in 2 different conditions:
1. Congratulations in different languages on the day when the Uzbek language was granted the status of the state language;
2. Translation of three different documents from different languages into English.
The event was held in high spirits. At the same time, dances of different countries were performed during the process.
According to the final results:
1st place Chinese language group;
2nd place, English language group;
3rd place went to the French and Arabic language groups.
Dean of the Faculty of Pedagogy Berdaliyev Nizomiddin Sheralievich awarded the winners with a letter of thanks and souvenirs.
