A scientific meeting with Academician Komiljon Tojibayev was held at the Renaissance University of Education

A scientific meeting on the topic “Diversity of higher plants: study at the global and regional levels” was organized at the Renaissance University of Education. The main guest of the event was Academician of the Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan, Director of the Institute of Botany Komiljon Tojibayev.
 
The academician expressed his views on the global and regional importance of higher plants, their role in the ecosystem, and current scientific research. He noted that nature conservation and preservation of the genetic diversity of the plant world are one of the most urgent issues today.
 
The event was attended by professors, teachers, employees and students of the university. During the meeting, the participants asked the academician questions of interest. During the conversation, discussions were also held on the development of botanical research in Uzbekistan, the study and preservation of new plant species.
 
Such scientific meetings serve to increase students' interest in science, encourage them to study nature more deeply, and develop a scientific approach in their professional activities.
