On October 27, 2024, elections will be held in Uzbekistan to the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Dzhokorgi Council of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, and the local councils of People's Deputies. Five political parties will participate in the elections, namely, the Movement of Entrepreneurs and Businessmen - the Liberal Democratic Party of Uzbekistan, the National Democratic Party of Uzbekistan , Ecological Party of Uzbekistan, People's Democratic Party of Uzbekistan, Social Democratic Party of Uzbekistan "Adolat". Elections will be held under the slogan "My choice is my prosperous country".
In this regard, the Department of Economics organized a roundtable discussion on the topic "Parliamentary election in Uzbekistan and its specific aspects" at the Renaissance University of Education.
As a guest, the chairman of the Committee on Industry, Construction and Trade of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan, a candidate for deputy from the 150th Shaikhontohur electoral district, a doctor of economics, a professor, a member of the Movement of Entrepreneurs and Businessmen - a faction of the Liberal-Democratic Party of Uzbekistan member Jumayev Nadir Khosiyatovich was invited.
During his speech, Jumayev Nadir Khosiyatovich gave detailed information about the election and the main tasks and functions of the party. He also emphasized to the students that they should not be indifferent to the state policy and actively participate in the election process.
