A team of students of the Renaissance Educational University is organizing excursions to state and home museums within the framework of the "Travel around Uzbekistan" program in accordance with the February plan. The next visit was organized to the "Gafur Ghulam" house museum and the "State Museum of the History of Uzbekistan".
Students of the 23-23MT group of pre-school education got acquainted with the Gafur Gulom House Museum and got full information about the life and work of the writer. The museum is divided into two parts. The first of them is the house where the writer lived, and the second is a two-story building where the main exhibition is located. The second building was completed in 2003 for the 100th anniversary of Gafur Ghulam. In the memorial section of the museum, students viewed many personal belongings of the writer. There is a unique library of the writer, a study room, and a hotel where he met his friends. One of the interesting rooms is the music room, where there are two musical instruments: a tambour and a dutor, which Gafur Gulam once played.
In the exhibition complex located in the new building, students got acquainted with the work of the writer. Here are his manuscripts, photographs, books, literary articles, and translations of foreign works. Today, the museum fund has more than 12,000 exhibits, most of which were presented by the writer's relatives. Many exhibits donated to the museum by foreign fans (for example, the story "Shum Bola" published in Greek) can also be seen here.
