An event dedicated to the 33rd anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Uzbekistan, as well as in connection with the opening of the 2024/2025 academic year, was held for 1st-year students in the activist hall of the Renaissance Educational University. Rector of RTU, doctor of technical sciences, professor N.R. Barakayev opened with an introduction. He quoted Imam Bukhari's famous words about knowledge: "One knowledgeable person feeds a thousand people." They also mentioned that living in an independent country is the greatest happiness and bliss.
After that, famous professors working at the university one after another spoke: Dr. Shuhrat Ergashev, Doctor of History, Professor Alimardonov Tolkin Turdiyevich, Doctor of Political Sciences, warmly congratulated the young people who entered the student period and thought they wished for victories in winter. Scientists emphasized the importance of the 33rd anniversary of independence, and noted that it is necessary to draw conclusions from the path of our ancestors, progress and decline, achievements and shortcomings, to be aware of the bravery of our compatriots, how they served our nation. At the same time, they said that the spirit of patriotism should be strong in everyone's heart.
Ravshanov Fazliddin Ravshanovich gave useful information to young people about the traditions of learning and mentor-apprenticeship. Everyone was especially impressed when they recited the poem "Ustoz". In this way, several professors and teachers appeared on the stage and spoke.
At the end of the event, the 1st year students who entered the new academic year were once again congratulated.
