The Department of Philology organized a discussion on "Preventing early marriage and negative consequences of consanguineous marriages" at the Renaissance University of Education. Gynecologist Elyanora Nizamova of Charkhnovza neighborhood was invited as a guest and expert. Also, the head of the Women's Committee of the Renaissance Educational University H. Abdullayeva explained to the speakers.
Almost all of us know the consequences of early marriage or marriage between close relatives. A number of explanatory works are being conducted in this regard. But despite this, early marriage of girls or marriage of close relatives still occurs. This requires the improvement of legislation aimed at strengthening families and preventing marriages between close relatives.
In particular, in the 2024 "Year of Youth and Business Support" State Program, as well as on February 20 of this year, during the video selector meeting on the discussion of priority tasks in the field of social protection held under the chairmanship of the President, the Senate of the Oliy Majlis and the Ministry of the Legislative Chamber and organizations together with the task of discussing and making a proposal on the issue of establishing by law the prohibition of marriage of all levels of kinship, which has a negative effect on the health of the future generation.
During the conversation, opinions were expressed about the importance of medical examination during marriage and about the negative consequences of marriages between close relatives.At the end of the meeting, the students received appropriate answers to their questions from experts.
